What will you be doing?
You’ll be transporting donated stem cells from the collection centre to the hospital treating the patient in need of a transplant. This could be from one London hospital to another, across the UK, or anywhere in the world!
This role requires time commitment and flexibility. You’ll be taking trips on weekdays (very occasionally weekends) which could take between a few hours to over 24 hours.

You’ll be the lifesaving link between a stem cell donor and transplant patient. Whether you’re dashing between local hospitals or taking a flight across the world, you’ll be providing an essential service as safely and as quickly as possible.
What skills will you need?
You'll need to:
- be responsible
- be flexible
- be confident using all forms of public transport
- be fit, active and healthy
- have experience of independent travel
- have excellent time-keeping
- have an eye for detail
- be cool, calm and collected under pressure.
You’ll need to live in London, Manchester of Sheffield and be under 75 years old.
