Anthony Nolan works with some incredible partners, such as those below, to raise awareness and recruit donors to the stem cell register. They educate, engage and recruit, playing a crucial role in expanding the donor register and over the years have helped recruit thousands of potential lifesavers.
ACLT
Anthony Nolan is incredibly proud to have partnered with the ACLT (African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust), since 1996. They have registered stem cell donors from a vast range of backgrounds, with a particular focus on African, Caribbean, and black mixed-race communities.
ASSET
ASSET, the Adrian Sudbury Schools’ Education Trust, was established to honour Adrian Sudbury, a 27-year-old journalist who passed away from leukaemia. ASSET delivers the "Register and Be a Lifesaver" (R&Be) program, which empowers young people to make informed decisions about becoming donors, and potentially saving lives.
SFRS
Anthony Nolan has been in partnership with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) since 2009, leading to over 20,000 young people joining the Anthony Nolan stem cell register, with more than 100 individuals proceeding to donate their stem cells to patients in need.
Partnerships Grant Programme
In celebration of our 50th anniversary in 2024 we introduced a new grants programme that recognises the vital role our partners play supporting organisations to run initiatives that raise awareness about stem cell donation and encourage donor recruitment.
