A great place to start is always to create your own JustGiving page and share a link with everyone you’re inviting.

Top ideas

  • Host a Coffee Morning – Put a date in the diary and invite your friends over to enjoy some coffee and homemade cakes.
  • Themed Bake Sale - Think seasonal cakes, or even a Great British Bake Off-style competition.
  • Bake-Off at Work - Challenge your colleagues to a baking contest and let everyone vote with donations!
  • Virtual Coffee and Cakes - Can't meet in person? Share recipes, hold a virtual catch-up, and raise funds online.

Each year I aim to have a fundraising event at my home in the garden. I have some very good friends who help on the day and with the preparation. We have an admission charge of £5 which allows everyone to eat as much or as little as you like and as much tea and coffee as they can manage.

All who come along enjoy the occasion. It’s a very friendly and chilled out time.
