My younger sister Fran recently underwent treatment for Hodgkin's Lymphoma and now thankfully she is in remission. As part of her treatment, she had two stem cell transplants; one from her own cells & one from a donor who was sourced through Anthony Nolan.
We as a family are eternally grateful to Anthony Nolan. Myself and my now husband Tim decided we would rather any wedding donations that people wanted to give us went to Anthony Nolan so the money could be used to help save other people's lives as they saved my sister's.
We created a JustGiving page and attached the link via email with our wedding invitations. It's our way of saying thank you in the hope that other families will benefit.
