Intro
Anthony Nolan has achieved so much since we were launched in 1974. But we haven’t done any of it alone. Over the years, we’ve worked with incredible partners who have done so much to help raise awareness, educate people about our work, and recruit thousands of lifesaving donors. We couldn’t do what we do without them.
Be More Fab
Bemorefab Children’s Cancer Charity helps children, families and schools that are affected by cancer. They provide tuition for children that miss school due to treatment and ensure they get the best support academically, socially and emotionally. The charity also acts as a hub for families to access support and educates the general public, schools and universities about the impact of childhood cancer through assemblies, workshops and seminars.
Essex FA
Essex FA has set up an ambassador programme through its community of football clubs, supported by their youth forum members. The project will aspire to raise awareness of the stem cell register through their football network by establishing an ambassador programme.
Humberside Police
Humberside Police deliver their activity within the force driven by a senior officer who is also a donor.
Leukaemia Cancer Society
Leukaemia Cancer Society’s aim is to ensure that more people with leukaemia survive, have the best possible quality of life and that their families and carers get the support they need. They do this through research, recruitment to the stem cell register, providing support and information for families and campaigning.
Muslim Doctors’ Association
Muslim Doctors’ Association carries out health promotion and outreach across the UK, partnering with local mosques, community centres, and organisations. They work in partnership with Anthony Nolan to raise awareness of the need for more Muslims to join the stem cell register.
One Voice Blackburn

A youth organisation based in the North West, One Voice Blackburn delivers education and recruitment events in colleges, with a focus on engaging and educating young people with South Asian heritage, busting myths and taboos around faith and donation in Islam, and providing the opportunity to join the register.
Police Scotland
Approximately 800 police recruits, known as probationers, receive initial training each year. Probationers receive a presentation to introduce the work of Anthony Nolan and have an opportunity to join the stem cell register.
Race Against Blood Cancer
A blood cancer charity that runs donor recruitment events, primarily in colleges in the West Midlands. Race Against Blood Cancer has recently launched a programme to recruit more young people to the Anthony Nolan register from within sixth forms.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service

This partnership was founded by former firefighter Ally Boyle in August 2009 after he was diagnosed with blood cancer. Ally made contact with Anthony Nolan and realised that the organisations had a shared objective, to save and improve lives. Since then, firefighters have been going into schools all over Scotland to deliver vital education around blood cancer, blood disorders and stem cell transplants.
The African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT)
The African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT) has been actively working for 29 years to raise awareness about blood cancers and blood disorders.
Dedicated to addressing health inequalities, ACLT focuses on increasing the number of potential stem cell, blood, and organ donors to improve the chances of finding life saving matches for patients in need, particularly within Black and ethnic minority communities.
Through education, donor recruitment initiatives, and advocacy, the charity continues to make a significant impact in saving lives.
The Ammies
Education and recruitment delivered within the Scottish Schools Football Association to young men, aiming to expand into schools affiliated with the SSFA. The Ammies also supports the delivery of our Police Scotland partnership.
The Jaskomal Foundation
The Jaskomal Foundation is a small charity founded by the family of Jaskomal Singh aiming to significantly increase the number of stem cell donors from younger, diverse backgrounds. This initiative will focus on educating underrepresented communities about the importance of stem cell donation and dispelling common myths, while making the process of registration simple and accessible.
2-3 Degrees
2-3 Degrees aims to inspire and equip young people with the personal development skills they need to become the best versions of themselves. They do this by delivering fun, engaging and dynamic workshops and on themes of confidence, self-esteem and employability. 2-3 Degrees has designed a programme working to co-design materials that will resonate with their users and encourage them to join the Anthony Nolan register.
