At a glitzy awards ceremony last night, organised by sector-magazine Charity Times, Anthony Nolan were awarded Charity of the Year.
The Charity Times Awards are a celebration of best practice in the UK charity and not-for-profit sector. Anthony Nolan was up against seven other leading UK organisations for the prestigious award.
Speaking after the win, Anthony Nolan Chief Executive Henny Braund said: “I am very proud and delighted that we have won the Charity Times, Charity of the Year award. With huge thanks to all our staff, volunteers, and supporters. This award is a testament to all their hard work in helping us to save lives.”
Awarded to a UK registered charity with an annual income of more than £10m, the judges recognised that Anthony Nolan has consistently delivered outstanding service to its beneficiaries, promoted and raised its cause, been clear in its goals and strategy, and demonstrated excellence all round. What a success!
